May 1
Along levee in Fulton County: bobolinks (active, singing flock of about 20
near small building where road from Elbow Slough meets the levee), Lincoln's
sparrow. Orchard orioles everywhere.
Tatumsville: chuck-will's-widow.
May 2
Ky. Dam Village beach: two common terns (nice gray underparts, etc.)
Sinclair unit of Peabody: Bell's vireos, grasshopper and Henslow's sparrows,
blue grosbeaks, bank and n. r-w swallows. About 4 n. harriers. No willow
flycatchers found, and a walk of the marshy area of S5 produced nothing of
interest.
Drakesboro: common nighthawk.
