It's confirmed. Was able to identify one fledged Kestrel yesterday.
It was sitting in a top of a dead tree with a much larger attendant
nearby. The larger bird I assumed to be an adult.The fledgling's feathers 
were much ruffled.
This morning there were again two kestrels in the same location and
I discovered the probable cause of the ruffled feathers, yesterday, of the 
fledgling. There was a cadre of Common Grackles perched on the lower 
branches.One of the grackles suddenly flew up and attacked the
larger fledgling? ,pecking at its tail feathers.
I now am thinking that the larger of the two birds stashed in the
the tree may be a sibling. The smaller bird may be a late fledge and
the reason the adults were monitoring the nest box from afar. If I re-
member correctly, there were four birds fledged last year (the first year 
for the nestbox,which was replacing the 25 year location in the eaves of an 
old building on an adjoining lot).
