Black Mountain Sat. and Sun.

Great Blue Heron (flew over Black Mountain)
Least Flycatchers (one was seen carrying nesting material)
Tree Swallow (Cumberland)
Veery (many heard singing on Sat. evening!)
Blue-headed Vireo
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler (also 3 along Little Shepard Trail)
Cerulean Warbler
Black-and white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird (carrying food)
Hooded Warbler
Canada Warbler
Scarlet Tanager
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Dark-eyed Junco
Swainson's Warbler along the trail at Bad Branch (the hike was cut short by a 
sudden rainstorm)
Ruffed Grouse along Little Shepard Trail (3- 1 female and at least 2 young 
approx. 1/3 grown, one flew approx. 20' to join female)
