Below are results from six spring migrations counts held in Kentucky on May 11, 
2002. Anyone who conducted a county-wide spring count on that date should 
forward the results to me by mail.

  Highlights:
    
    Boone   Hooded Merganser, Black-bellied Plover, Willet, Loggerhead Shrike, 
26 species of warblers including Black-throated Blue, Pine Siskin

    Calloway   Common Loon, Little Blue Heron, White-rumped Sandpiper, 30 
species of warblers including Golden-winged, Swainson's, and Canada, Leconte's 
Sparrow
  
    Campbell   Broad-winged Hawk, Lesser Yellowlegs, Cape May Warbler, Purple 
Finch

    Fayette   Black-billed Cuckoo, Black-crowned Night Heron, Cape May Warbler, 
Savannah Sparrow

    Jefferson   Hooded Merganser, Olive-sided Flycatcher, 31 species of 
warblers including Golden-winged and Canada, Dickcissel

   Pulaski   Peregrine Falcon, Sandhill Crane, Chuck-wil's-widow, Alder 
Flycatcher, 29 species of warblers including Golden-winged, Henslow's Sparrow
