Catching up on posting some observations from the past week.

Jon Dunn and I tallied about 26 spp of warblers in the LBL area on May 8th;
it was VERY breezy, but song was still good.  As previously reported, the
Pacific Loon was still above Ky Dam.  There were also at least 2 Common
Terns and 2 adult Laughing Gulls (maybe three) around the dam area.

We tallied 16 spp of shorebirds at McElroy Lake on May 9th: Blk-bellied
Plover (1); Semipalmated Plover (150+); Killdeer; Gr Yellowlegs (2+); Lesser
Yellowlegs (100+); Spotted Spiper; Solitary Spiper; Least Spiper (150-200);
Semi Spiper (5+); White-rumped Spiper (5+); Pectoral Spiper (35-40+); Stilt
Spiper (1); Dunlin (15-20); Short-billed Dowitcher (27); Long-billed
Dowitcher (1-called); Wilson's Phalarope (1 male); 13 Black Terns.  Has
anyone been by to see if water has remained or returned???

May 11th in Louisville; warblers were harder to find with much less song
than in Land Between the Lakes; heard a Canada and heard and saw an
Olive-sided Flycatcher.
