The information I posted last week about access to Morgan's Pond is not
accurate any longer.  If birders go to Morgan's Pond, you MUST call the
security post before you arrive to let them know you are going to be =
birding
along Bullard Lane.  They should be called at 270/956-2741.  You should =
say
you are a birdwatcher and that you are going to be looking at waterbirds =
on
the ponds.  I don't know if they will ask for vehicle description or =
other
info.  Also, they have already been provided with a list of some birders
from KOS who might come by.  If you have not been contacted by me by =
another
email and you want me to have your name added to the list, please email =
me
at brainard.palmer-ball@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  Otherwise, it is possible =
that
the security will not allow you to remain in the area.  That being said,
however, I think it is possible that if you explain that you are a =
birder
and that you know your name is not on the list, but give them your name =
and
perhaps SS #, they might let you bird.
