I've been away from KY for several weeks, and returning Wednesday I realized 
that I've missed several first-of-season birds for our neighborhood. However, I 
was happy that the White-throated Sparrows are still here and singing. Today, 
among other summer residents,  I noted an Orchard Oriole and an Eastern 
Kingbird. I don't know when they returned, but I'm happy to see them! No 
catbird yet, however.
