[birdky] BKY: Birding at Mammoth Cave National Park

Five species of warblers had returned to the park -- No. parula,
yellow-rumped, black-and-white, La. waterthrush, and yellow-throated. These
birds sang
repeatedly from high up in the sycamore trees. What a delight to have these
summer residents back in our state. A ruby-cr. kinglet, chipping sparrows,
phoebes,
and brown thrashers were also seen.

Wildflowers were blooming in profusion. Bloodroot and hepatica were
especially beautiful.

Happy spring birding,
