and to see what migrants had returned to the area. In all we had 45 species of
birds including 7 species of warblers.
Red-sh. Hawk
Phoebe
Red-br. Nuthatch - heard
Ruby-cr. Kinglet
Yel.-thr. Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo - everywhere
Parula
Yel.-rumped Warbler
Yel- throated Warbler
Cerulean Warblers
Bl-and-wh Warblers
Worm-eating Warbler
La. Waterthrush
Summer Tanager
Scarlet Tanager
Mammoth Cave personnel are doing a great job of eradicating garlic-mustard.
Before you could hardly see the wildflowers for all the garlic-mustard.
On Friday we were at Bernheim Forest and had La. Waterthrush, Pine warblers,
and Parula and Eastern Kingbirds(3).
