On the way home from church this morning, approx 8:15 CDT on Hwy 54, in the 
Sinks community halfway between Leitchfield Ky and Short Creek, a four 
legged critter dashed across the road in front of me:

Bobcat

I rarely see this animal.The last one I saw was at Rough River State Park a 
few years back but have heard them several times from the park, downstream 
on the Breckinridge side of Rough River.

I grew up on a farm in extreme northwestern Grayson Co. My parents farm, on 
the the west side was bordered by Rough River. I have heard them squalling 
at nighttime on several  occasions.This one sets my total lifetime sightings 
at three (3) Joyce Porter
