Kentucky Lake is close to reaching summer pool so the way to access 
shorebirds on Blood River is by boat.  I paddled out on this glorious evening 
for a 
look around.
Here are the highlights.
Cattle Egret
Wood duck
Blue-winged Teal
Bald Eagle
Red-shouldered Hawk
Greater Yellowlegs - 5
Solitary Sandpiper - 3
Spotted Sandpiper - 2
Least Sandpiper - 17
Baird's Sandpiper - 1 in beautiful plumage
Forster's Tern
Barred Owl
Eastern Kingbird
Pine Warbler
Prothonotary Warbler - everywhere
Hap
