I drove around Western Ky today.  I went by the Sloughs, Ky Dam, 
Kuttawa, Smithland, and stopped at the 68 bridge over lake Barkley.

Horned Grebes-dam and kuttawa, there were a couple already beginning to 
molt into alternate plumage.
Bald eagle-juv. at Wood's tract and an adult flying along hwy. 60
Osprey-1 at Smithland
Lesser Yellowlegs-2 at Woods tract
Dunlin-7 Woods tract
Shovelers-~60 Woods Tract
GW Teal-~100 Woods Tract
Mallards
Gadwall
Wigeon-Kuttawa
L. Scaup-~1000 altogether at Ky and Barkley lakes
Canvasback-30+ at 68 bridge and a few at Kuttawa
Redhead-few at Ky Dam and Kuttawa
C. Goldeneye-68 bridge
Buffleheads
RB Merganser-10-15 at 68 bridge
