A Fish Crow greeted us this morning as we slid our kayaks into the water at Blood River (Ky. Lake). Mud flats were mostly covered with shorebirds limited to a Greater Yellowlegs and a few Killdeer. Pine Warbler was singing. Adult eagle was busy doing something in the nest. Could the eggs have hatched?
