Ben Deetsch with Redwing Ecological Services in Louisville emailed me
today that he and some co-workers saw a Whooping Crane migrating north
with about 20 Sandhills over the Simpsonville area, Shelby County,
yesterday afternoon.
On the family farm in Louisville I had about 120 Sandhills total pass
north during early afternoon in a few small flocks.
