Jenny Howard and I wandered around Fulton County and parts of Reelfoot in TN
today. Green-winged Teal and Wilson's Snipe were the most common birds
found. Highlights are listed below:
Wood Duck
Gadwall
American Wigeon
Blue-winged Teal
Northern Shoveler
Green-winged Teal
Ring-necked Duck
Hooded Merganser - most paired up
Pied Billed Grebe
Great Egret
Bald Eagle - young in the nest on the levee
Cooper's Hawk
Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser yellowlegs
Least Sandpiper
Pectoral Sandpiper
Wilson's Snipe
Bonaparte's Gull- TN only
Eurasian Collared Dove
Barred Owl
Belted Kingfisher
Loggerhead Shrike - TN only
Fish Crow
Horned Lark
Tree Swallow
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Brown Thrasher
