I got to the Sloughs about 4PM today. Another beautiful day for birding.

3/10 4PM to 6PM partly cloudy, 65º

Crenshaw Tract
Gadwalls
Am. Widgeons
Wood Ducks
Ring-necked Ducks
Canada Geese
Hooded Merganser pr.
Wilson's Snipe 2
Great Horned Owls pr
Barred Owls (calling and responding to each other)
Yellow-rumped Warbler 1

268 slough
 Horned Grebe 1
Pintails
Mallards
Green-winged Teals
Shovelers

Woods Tract (a new stairs to the obs. tower is up and better built  
but has no hand rails)
Tundra Swans 7
Am. Coots 25
(and lots of ducks)


Non-bird obs:
Muskrats all over Crenshaw Tract slough
Turtles on all the logs
Frogs singing
and I got bit by the first mosquito of the season.
