I made a run around the lake today and found a group of at least 77 Sandhill Cranes feeding at/or in 
the vicinity of Cooley's Pond.  3 Tree Swallows were feeding near the marina at Conley Bottom on 
Lake Cumberland. 13 species of waterfowl were scattered about.
Redheads 40+ on Clifty Pond, 36 at Cooley's, 30+ at Thurston's Pond.
Common Loon only 1 at the end of Rowena Road
Horned Grebe 14 Rowena and 5 Conley Bottom
Wilson's Snipe numbers had increased to 25 at Cooley's
Am Pipit 1 at Cooley's
Eur. Collared-Dove 1 at the feed mill in Monticello (An adult Cooper's Hawk sat on a high perch 
overlooking the mill.)

House Wren, Brown Thrasher, Pine Warblers, Fox Sparrows, and Swamp Sparrows some looking sharp with 
their pretty red caps in Russell County at/or near Kendall Rec. area.
