A female Surf Scoter was present at the mouth of the Licking R. at Gen James
Taylor Park at Newport this morning. It flew in from the Kenton Co. side as
I was watching a small group of Buffleheads (1 male, 3 female). Also present
1 pair Ring-necked Ducks and 1 Bonaparte's Gull (there were 18 bonies
yesterday).
