Live Cams and Bluebird Meeting
Kentucky Environmental Education Projects (KEEP) Inc., the Kentucky Bluebird
Society (KBS), Caldwell County Elementary School and Cornell University are
happy to announce that we have an active pair of Ospreys and Eastern Bluebirds
available to see and learn about at Cornell?s Nest Cam Web Site again this
season. Also, don?t miss the two active Barn Owl nests. Direct links to see

Ospreys were observed flying low over the new Lake Barkley nest cam site on
March 11 and on the nest March 14, 2005. The nest was constructed largely last
year where one young Osprey fledged. The pair are presently at the nest mostly
early in the day. Select archives to the left of the nest image to see
recently saved images. As soon as eggs are produced, adult Ospreys will almost
always be present to see during daylight hours. This year?s cam site has
reliable electricity 24/7, instead of depending on solar power, so images
should be available routinely.
A pair of Eastern Bluebirds can be seen building their nest at the Caldwell
County Elementary School nest site; the floor of the Bluebird box is just about
covered today with the nest clearly taking shape. Images saved over the past
few days are also available to see in the archives.
Everyone is invited to attend the coming KBS ?Special Bluebird Day? hosted by
Bernheim Forest on Saturday April 23, 2005. More information will be available
soon at the KBS web page and in the newspapers.
