I tried to post this yesterday from school even though I'm registered from
there but it just kept coming back so I'm trying again this morning.

Marydale:

It was a good day for ducks.  Yesterday morning I found a Bufflehead pair,
Hooded Merganser pair, Scaup pair, 3 male Blue-winged Teals, 4 Pied-Billed
grebes, Cooper's Hawk and a Wild Turkey in addition to a couple of mallards
and Canada Geese.    I visited several times during the day to see all these
guys and it's best to visit early in the morning before traffic and people
start moving.   This is close to what I saw last week but it's hit or miss
during the day as I think they stay in the coves during busy times.

Camp Ernst:
There was a Gadwall pair, Male American Wigeon, Ruddy, and 4 Ring-necked (1
male, 3 females), and 1 Killdeer in addition to the resident ducks and
geese.

Ohio River:
Although Frank saw the Black Scoter in the morning I did not find her in the
afternoon.   I can usually see her in the morning but not in the afternoon
so that doesn't surprise me.

I have a webpage posted of some of the ducks and birds I've shot this winter
if any are interested.   I've seen a lot more but these are all that were
relatively decent.
