Those of us who were lucky to see one and even another Yellow-billed Loon 
at Big Sandy Refuge in Tn. last week might want to either read their March 
issue of Audubon  or log onto www.audubon.org/state/ak/  then click on the 
article about Teshekput Lake.  They ask that you write a personal letter to 
Interior Sec. Gale Norton and also send a copy to Audubon Alaska.  This 
area is in the "no lease" zones but the BLM has recommended that the area 
be opened up. And you guessed it, it is a prime nesting site for the 
yellow-billed.
