What a difference a day makes/ or two/and now three.

The message I attempted to send this morning aborted for unknown
reason.
3-3-03 The overwintering flock of Horned Larks at the airpot(RRSP)
were flittering about in small flocks as if they had traveling in mind
3-4-03 There was one Rough-legged Hawk circling and hovering over an open 
field just east of Mcquady in Breckinridge Co.On the way back from 
Hardinsburg I turned onto Hwy 108 and stopped to identify a Red-tailed
Hawk sitting in a Sycamore tree by a farm pond. When I rolled down my 
window, I heard calling for the first time this year a pond full of
Chorus Frogs.
Driving by the airport on the way home I observed a Sharp-shinned Hawk
in a semi-vertical position overhead scanning the field slowly.Looking
for a Horned Lark, no doubt.
Robins, robins, robins everywhere. Not in flocks but numerous pairs
were all over in my area of the state.
3-5-03 That's todays date. Back to the "gray-gloomies". The feeders were 
loaded up with feeding birds.Joyce Porter Falls of Rough,Ky
