[birdky] Re: crane flight 1 mar 03

The weather just south of the Tennessee border was certainly
similar to the weather in Kentucky Saturday, but there was
just as certainly a major movement of cranes through the
counties in the Tennessee part of the Upper Cumberland
Region with more than 5000 cranes reported, almost all
moving north in purposeful, obvious migration. Many
birds do seem to have landed when getting to the vicinity
of the Tennessee-Kentucky border, so today could
witness many more sightings across Kentucky as those
birds head further north.

Be on the lookout for white cranes amidst the
gray-brown ones.
