I had an hour or 2 to kill in bowling Green today, so I swung by Griffin park
and McElroy. Griffin had the usual assortment of mallards, canada geese, and
domestics. A female ruddy duck was diving in the center.
McElroy has hundreds of mallards, along with a few coot and widgeon. Also
ring-billed gulls, horned larks and pipits. My only wader was a greater
yellowlegs.
