[birdky] Rpt: Lexington snow geese, longspur

I was thrilled today by the sight of 6 snow geese feeding beside a large gaggle
of Canada geese at the Spindletop lake in North Lexington. This was a life bird
for me. Also good numbers still of RN duck, redhead and gadwall.
Other birds of note were a single Lapland longspur in with a small flock of
horned larks, plus several Savannah sparrows. This is the only Lapland longspur
I have seen this winter.
Once I managed to de-ice my car and get it moving, it was actually a
beautifully crisp day to be outside!
