Dear colleagues and friends,

Will you please help us spread the word about this opportunity?  I'd be
grateful if you would post to university bulletin boards, forward to
collaborators, etc.

David Dobkin and I are looking for a few good men and women to work with
us in the mountains of the spectacular Great Basin this summer.  We're
looking for students or professionals who have proven experience in
identifying western birds by sound and sight and who thrive on quality
field time in the middle of nowhere.  This is an excellent short-term
opportunity and it also could turn into a long-term independent study or
thesis / dissertation.  Compensation level is flexible; we're looking
for good people first and foremost.  Please let me know if you have any
