Yesterday Barbara Woerner and I did a quick little trip to the Falls of the 
Ohio. nothing too unusual was seen except 2 Horned Grebes, which I would 
classify as uncommon-rare at this time of year around Louisville.
Other birds seen:
Canada Goose-22+ above dam
Gadwall-4 above dam
Am. Black Duck-6 scattered about
Mallard
Canvasback- a pair
Lesser Scaup-35+ above dam
Bufflehead-6 dam
Co. Goldeneye-3 dam
Hooded Merganser-3 dam
Horned Grebe-2- one was a little larger and stouter 
Db- Cr. Cormorant-50+ 
Am. kestrel-1
Peregrine Falcon- 1 siiting on far retainer wall
Am. Coot-1
Bonaparte's Gull- 50+- feeding right below interpretive center also unusual 
this time of year
Ring-bl. Gull- 100
Rock Dove
Mourning Dove
Horned lark- heard 
Caro. Chickadee
Caro. Wren
Am. Robin-1
Eu. Starling
Song Sp.
Dark-eyed Junco
No. Cardinal
House Finch
Am. Goldfinch
House Sp.
