- From: David Roemer <dlroemer@xxxxxxxxx>

Two female Mallard x American Black Ducks have been
present in Warren County since Christmas using Griffin
Park as a refuge and also feeding/loafing at ponds in
southern Warren County with the resident ducks and
honkers. Male hybrids of these species are usually
straight-forward in identification but the females can
be much less apparent, fun study.
A male Mallard x Northern Pintail was present at
Petros Pond in Warren County on 25 and 26 December.
