KOS will again sponsor a silent auction of bird or nature related
merchandise, bird or nature books, and similar.  The sponsors of the
silent auction are again, Hap Chambers and Dona Coates.  The auction
will be held on evening Saturday only.   Parties interested in donating
items should bring them to the spring meeting and have them at the
Central City Inn and Convention Center prior to dinner on Saturday.  If
you are not coming to KOS but still wish to donate, you may contact
either Dona or Hap.  An arrangement will be made, if possible, to
procure your donation.

arrangements or for further information.
 
I look forward to seeing you there.  The KOS Spring Meeting will be held
April 27-29, 2007 at the Central City Convention Center.  The phone
number is 800-457-6318.  This facility is located between Central City
and Greenville, near the Peabody WMA, Sinclair Unit.
 
More information regarding the spring meeting will be forthcoming with
the February Kentucky Warbler and on BIRDKY.  Stay tuned, but make your
reservations now.  The opportunity to bird the Peabody WMA with fellow
KOS members does not often occur.
