I work in Winchester on Bypass Road and have been very disappointed with the
number of birds I see and hear. In over a year, I have seen starlings, walmart
birds (sparrows), one lone mocking bird, 2 red tail hawks and heard one yellow
warbler. I went to load some things in my car and heard this loud group of
robins, there must have been 500+ sitting on a doctors office roof and in the
shrubs with berries. It was amazing, it looked like it was straight out of a
horror movie. People would go in the office and the birds would just scatter,
then come right back. Not as fun at the Scott's or humming bird, but sure was
a treat!
