Who says it's really February? Sure can't tell up here in north-central
Kentucky!
Hap Chambers, David Knapp and I saw the Scott's Oriole from about 12:15
to 12:30 today.
Then Hap and I met Mark Monroe and Shawchyi Vorisek about five blocks
from the KSNPC office, where we banded an adult female Rufous
Hummingbird at the home of Rich & Nora Green. The hummer has been coming
since at least early November.
