Tom Durbin and I spent the day on the lakes attempting
to view the distant birds.  There wasn't much below
the dams but Ring-billed and a few Herring Gulls.  The
lakes were a cloud of gulls but heat waves prevented
scrutiny of the distant flocks.  We did scratch out a
few birds.

18 species of waterfowl
Red-throated Loon (adult from Little Bear Cr ramp/Ky)
Common Loon (8-10 on Ky)
Eared Grebe (Birmingham Pt near Camp Currie/Ky)
Am White Pelican (250 near Silo Overlook/Barkley)
DC Cormorant (30+ Silo area)
Lesser Black-backed Gull (1st yr/above Barkley
Dam..adult/3rd yr above Ky Dam)
