Hello All,
Chuck Mills, Ben Fritz, Stephanie Fritz, and myself
arrived in Austin, Indiana shortly after 7:00 am
central time. Ben and Stephanie spotted the Bullock's
Oriole on the suet feeder before we even got out of
the car. Chuck and I saw the bird as soon as we got
out of the car. We spent 15 to 20 minutes watching the
bird, and then decided that since we got the Bullock's
Oriole so quickly we would make the one and a half
hour drive to Frankfort, Kentucky to try for the
Scott's Oriole. We arrived in Frankfort, and after 20
minutes of feeder watching we had our second oriole
species of the day.
