[birdky] RPt- Hermit Thrush

With about 6 inches of snow on the ground yesterday, I decided to
have the snow bug. You know one of those days that begs you to stay home,
play in the snow and watch the birds. I was walking from quilting
room to the main house and saw a Hermit Thrush sitting on the bird bath,
with the heater in it. Its the only water not frozen on this cold dry ridge.
It flew on my deck and sit there for quite some time. This snow has really
brought the birds in. Still no Purple
finches, Lots of Goldfinches and the regulars. On snow bug days, even the
Chickadee and nuthatches are great!
