HOMESTEAD/OHIO COUNTY

Twelve species of expected waterfowl on Island Lake
including pair of Shovelers.

DC Cormorant
Rough-legged Hawk  (dark-morph ad male)
Red-breasted Nuthatch (2)
Cedar Waxwing (flock of appr. 15) scarce this winter
Yellow-rumped Warbler (appr 20 including a flock of 12
along Wysox Rd.  This is probably more than I've seen
combined all winter.)
Tree Sparrow 
Purple Finch (male along Union Hill Rd.)

SINCLAIR/TVA LAKE

Fourteen species of waterfowl including:
Canvasback (app 20)
Gr Scaup 
Bufflehead (3)
C Goldeneye (3)
PB Grebe (appr 50)
Black-crowned Night-Heron (1st yr)
Merlin
RB Gull (200)
Herring Gull (9)
Sandhill Crane (27 resting then resuming northward
migration)
Tree Sparrow (70+)

There were 4 Cedar Waxwings in my yard this afternoon
upon arriving home.
