Title: ASK/Lexington/Richmond: woodcock walk on for Monday night

I'm hoping the wind won't be a problem tomorrow night. The temp. should be nice, and so we'll meet at Central KY Wildlife Management Area no later than 6:15 tomorrow (Monday) night. Jim Williams hopes to show up with some ASK/Lexington people. (Maybe someone who has a powerful flashlight could bring it.)

From Lexington, from I75 take exit 87 at Richmond and go left (toward town) for a few miles until you see the 421/25 sign and turn right (a Kroger is on the right). Where the road splits after awhile, stay left on 421 and go through Kingston and keep an eye out for a sign for CKWMA and turn left there. Up and down and all around for a couple of miles or so. At the refuge headquarters, the road abruptly turns left--But STAY STRAIGHT and turn right onto the country road. Go a quarter mile or so and pull into the first parking spot on the right. Woodcock country. Give yourself at least 45 minutes--probably an hour--from Lexington.
