It looks to me like roads will be OK in some areas in the morning, but
rather than suggest testing them or meeting later in the morning, it seems
like postponing the Peabody WMA trip until Sunday morning is the best
choice.  We could probably get to the meeting place tomorrow without mishap,
but with many needing to depart home before daybreak, and the likelihood
that I can reach most everyone who is thinking about going via BIRDKY, I
think I'll take the more conservative approach and postpone the trip until
Sunday morning. Birding conditions should be similar or better on Sunday, as
well.
 
I apologize in advance to anyone who does not get word of this change in
plans.
 
So ... with better road conditions almost a certainty on Sunday, we will
plan to meet at the Western Ky Pkwy rest area, mile 76 near Beaver Dam, at
8:00 CST (9:00 EST).  Bring a lunch and warm clothes as it appears winter
has finally arrived :o)
