Waterfowl observations from farm ponds along Aurora Ferry Road in Petersburg 
(Boone County) from February 21, 2005:

Canada Goose
Mallard
Black Duck (2)
Gadwall  (3)
Blue-winged Teal (2 males)  My earliest spring record for northern Ky.
Hooded Merganser  (14)

Also a pair of Wood Ducks were at Camp Ernst Lake in Burlington on 2/19/05.
