I did two drive-bys at the Sauerheber Unit today (2/21) (Henderson Co.).
Mallard: the most common waterfowl probably 200
Canada Geese: maybe 100 seen
Shovelers: 50
Pintails: 15
Green-wing teal: 10
Hooded Merganser: 4
Gadwall: 2
Snow Geese: 2
Am. Widgeon: 4
Great Blue Heron: 1
Rusty Blackbird: 5 (with a flock of Starlings)
E. Meadowlark: 1

I walked Highland Creek Unit (Union Co.)
Great Blue Heron: 6
Wood Duck: 4 (1 flew into a hollow in a tree, 1st I've seen since fall)
Mallard: 1
Hooded Merganser: 1
Cooper's Hawk: 1
Red-tailed Hawk: 2
Red-shouldered Hawk: 2
Turkey Vulture: 3
Kestrel: 3
Golden-crowned Kinglet: 1
E. Bluebird: 2

Cape Hills Unit (back in Henderson Co.)
Rufous-sided Towhee: 5
Robins: 6 (their acting like its spring)
Red-tailed Hawk: 2
Am. Goldfinch: 5

Not seen:
Yellow rumps (seem to be mostly absent this winter)
Tundra swans
