    It was a blustery, "blow your tri-pod over" day at Lake Barkley, but a 
few species managed to stay out of the wind in the coves around Hillman's 
Ferry, Kuttawa Landing, and Craven's Bay boat ramps. Mudflats at Jonathan 
Creek embayment on Ky. Lake are extensive; however, wind was too much for 
me and the birds.  Great blue sky and warm temperatures made for a good 
afternoon.
