As most of the bird watchers know the biggest problem for feeders is
squirrels and what you call junk birds. Well I have had problems with
squirrels chewing up feeders and keeping things stirred up in the past but
now and for quite some time I have another problem Cats yes I said cats.
There are four or five cats literally living in my backyard. These cats are
wild and some were born in the yard and I think that some belong to people
who live near me... I wish that I could get rid of this problem and so I
called the humane Society and asked if they would come and remove them for
me but no they will take them if I catch them and call them they will come
get them. Well I don't have any way to catch them so that is out. I had a
trap big enough to hold them it has trapped Possums and squirrels before and
so have other people but I loaned it to some one and never got it back.
What I would like to know if any of you have any ideas that will help me.
