Hello all,

As some of you know, there is an active bald eagle nest in a cypress slough
between Audubon State Park and the Ohio River.  An adult bald eagle pair is
again in the nest vicinity.  Last week, I observed an adult bald eagle
sitting on a branch about 50 yards away from the nest, and then a juvenile
bald eagle came across the horizon and forced the adult off its perch and
chased the adult over Audubon Park.  I have seen adults do the same behavior
to juveniles but not the opposite.  Can anyone offer similar observances or
explanations?
