I am staying in Jenkins, Letcher Co. and my friend took me today (2/3) to
the pond in Jenkins and there were 19 Am. Coots. I am not sure if this is
unusual, but the range seemed a little off, so I figured I would send a note
to anyone interested.
Also, on Mon. afternoon our friends took us to the Breaks Interstate Park in
VA and at the entrance of the Clinchfield Trail, I saw a Hairy and Downy
Woodpecker.
