[birdky] Kestrel Nest Box

On this damp, drippy day my friend Wavy came by at 6:30 AM to check out the
20 ft high nest box for cleaning. As he started to climb the ladder, he
looked up and called my attention to an Eastern Screech
Owl with its head framed in the entrance of the box. The commotion of
climbing the ladder had jarred it awake.
We made a quick retreat and put the ladder away.
Now I'm wondering what the Kestrels will do. I saw them copulating
yesterday on a lower branch of the walnut tree in the yard, hence the
