There is an abundance of information on Kentucky's bats, including info that
would answer questions about which bat species are most likely to be flying
at this time of year and which ones use caves at the following link:
http://www.biology.eku.edu/bats.htm
Once at this site, go to the "Bats of Kentucky" choice.
In the past week and a half, I've been assisting with annual surveys of
winter bat hibernacula. We've censused more than 30,000 bats of nine
species!
