there was a report this evening from a friend of mine that his daughter had a
good look at an avocet on a farm pond in hart county. i can't speak for the
lady's credentials but he is going to look tomorrow and will call back if the
bird is around. her description sounded right and honestly it shouldn't be that
tough an id.
