[birdky] Transient Lakes

The recent rains have resulted in the transient lakes
at Woodburn to appear to varying degrees. Chaney and
Walton's have enough water to attract birds but the
number of waterfowl present has been very low with
only the common dabbler species present.
McElroy has water in the ditch with a few adjacent
pools. Hunters have been keeping the birds away from
there for the most part with the exception of
yesterday when they were absent. Present then were 4
Ross's Geese and 29 Sandhill Cranes which were gone
today.
