Today in light of a long overdue change in temperature, I headed to the Ohio
River. I didn't see much of interest, but Looking for waterfowl on the far
side of the railroad bridge, I saw what appeared to be an imm. Bald Eagle
flying downstream just out of view. When I went to the interpretive center
the attendant told me they had an adult male flying right over that morning.
other birds of interest:
2 Bufflehead
5 Canvasback
a few small flocks of Lesser Scaup
1 imm. Herring Gull
Good Birding,
Michael Autin
Louisville, KY
