Position Title: Wildlife Technician I 
Agency: Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources 
Description: 
The primary duty of this WILDLIFE TECHNICIAN I position involves monitoring
Peregrine Falcon nests in Kentucky. Much of this work will be conducted
independently. 
Additionally, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to assist
on various avian research projects, including but not limited to: MAPS
banding, songbird surveys, raptor surveys, and related data entry. 
Location: Frankfort, KY (some travel throughout the state) 
Salary: $1,564 to $2,072 per month, depending on experience 
Requirements: 
H.S. Diploma required; field experience with raptors and/or passerines
preferred; ability to work independently. 
Start Date: 1 March, 2006
