[birdky] BKY: Brown Bats and Thrasher

A walk in rural Calloway County produced the following of interest:
Brown Thrasher (1)
Cedar Waxwings (8)
Barred Owl (2)
Towhees calling everywhere
White-throated Sparrows
A flock of 50+ cardinals mostly males flew over heading north in the late
afternoon. I've seen jays, robins, and black birds flock up but never
cardinals.
Two brown bats were feeding on midges. Guess they had had it with
hibernation.
